- Hmm, and I once read that book named "The Home Computer Wars" by a
- guy whose name I forgot (hmm, Tomlin?, sorry) but who worked at C=
- in the Tramiel and C64 days, that old C= killed their dealers in
- favour of mass-marketing the C64! Strange, one of the tales has to
- be wrong.

- This is practically the exact text we sent to our german dealers
- announcing them that Amigas would also be distributed through Escom
- stores :-).

- And then it began to change. At Escom and its co-companies, things
- can always change at incredible speeds. But to get into some other
- parts of the mass market is very tough. I recently heard the conditions
- one of the biggest warehouse chains in Germany demands when you
- want them to sell Amigas, it's practically impossible. They want to
- dictate the price and let you take every and each risk.
